Deepti Sharma Faces Fraud of ₹25 Lakh
According to the complaint, Aarushi’s parents took advantage of this close relationship. They told Deepti they needed money for personal reasons. Over two years, they took around ₹25 lakh from Deepti on different dates. Every time, they promised to return the money. But even after a long time, they did not give the money back.
When Deepti asked for her money, they kept making excuses. Later, they even misbehaved with her. Deepti lost trust in them and asked them to stay away. Deepti owns a flat near Rajeshwar Mandir in Agra. Aarushi used to visit the flat often. After things went bad between them, Deepti told Aarushi not to visit her flat again. However, on 22 April, Aarushi went to Deepti’s flat secretly. She broke the lock, entered the flat, and took away valuable items. She stole gold and silver jewellery, cash, and other expensive things. Before leaving, she locked the flat with her own lock.
On 23 April, Aarushi called Deepti, who was abroad at the time. She told Deepti that she needed to collect some things from the flat. Deepti then sent her brother to the flat. But the lock was not theirs, it was Aarushi’s. Only she had the key.
Later, it was found that Aarushi had already entered the flat the previous day and taken things without permission. The case became more serious.
The Sadar police station registered an FIR against Aarushi Goyal and her parents. The charges include fraud and theft. According to DCP City Agra, the case is being investigated seriously. Police are collecting all the evidence and statements. More details will come out after the investigation.
