This comes as massive development in Patidar’s career as playing in ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup would have made his case strong for India comeback. The right-hander is arguably one of the best batsmen in India at the moment. Also, with the way he has been performing in the IPL over last two years, he would have been very close to making the senior Indian team.

However, Rajat Patidar injury has pushed him back again. The batter is currently ready for just the T20s and there are chances that he might play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
