After serving Saurashtra for more than 13 years, veteran left-arm spinner Dharmendrasinh Jadeja is set to begin a new domestic journey. The 36-year-old has secured a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) and is expected to join Chhattisgarh ahead of the upcoming season.

Despite sharing the surname and bowling style of India star and one of the best all-rounders in the world, Ravindra Jadeja, the two are not related. The move follows discussions involving the player, the SCA, and the team management before the start of the new campaign. Sources indicate that the conversations focused on Jadeja's future role within the squad.
Several other domestic transfers have also been finalised ahead of the new season. Fast bowler Rajneesh Gurbani has made his way back to Vidarbha after representing Maharashtra during the previous campaign. In another major move, all-rounder and among the best finishers in IPL, Shashank Singh, has left Chhattisgarh to join Puducherry.

The association and coaching staff wanted him to concentrate solely on first-class cricket, but Dharmendrasinh Jadeja reportedly expressed his desire to continue featuring in both List A and T20 competitions, which eventually led to his switch from Saurashtra and will now see him feature for Chhattisgarh in the upcoming season, as Dharmendrasinh Jadeja NOC has also been issued.
Jadeja leaves Saurashtra with an impressive domestic record. Along with his 100 first-class appearances, he has represented the side in 90 List A matches and 73 T20 games. He also played a key role in the team's Ranji Trophy victories in the 2019-20 and 2022-23 seasons. Across his first-class career, Jadeja has picked up 423 wickets, including a remarkable 293 wickets in the Ranji Trophy since the 2017-18 season.
Odisha have strengthened their squad for the upcoming domestic campaign by signing two experienced professionals. The Odisha Cricket Association confirmed that Lalit Yadav from Vidarbha and Baroda's Ninad Rathva will represent the state this season. Before completing the move, both players received No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from their parent associations: the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) and the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA).
