Namibia Tri Series 2026 Schedule, Teams Squads and Venue

The Namibia Tri-Series 2026, involving Namibia, Nigeria and Hong Kong, is scheduled to be staged in Windhoek, Namibia, from 18 June to 29 June 2026 and will feature both T20 and 50-over cricket. The tour opens with a Men’s T20 International (T20I) Tri-Series between 18 and 23 June, with all fixtures recognised as official internationals and contributing to the ICC T20I rankings, before moving into the one-day leg of the competition played under a double round-robin structure.

The Namibia Tri series venue will be one of the smallest cricket stadiums in the world, the Namibia Cricket Ground, creating a single-venue tournament. The series carries added significance as it represents the first international visit to Namibia for Nigeria and Hong Kong, while Namibia and Hong Kong are set to face each other in men’s T20Is for the first time.

For Hong Kong, the event serves as valuable preparation ahead of the upcoming stages of the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League, whereas Nigeria are using the competition to measure progress against stronger Associate opposition. In preparation for the tour, Nigeria organised a 35-member training camp under head coach Stephen Mangongo.

Namibia Tri Series 2026 Schedule

The Namibia T20I tri series schedule includes six matches: Nigeria vs Hong Kong (18 June), Namibia vs Hong Kong (19 June), Namibia vs Nigeria (20 June), Nigeria vs Hong Kong (21 June), Namibia vs Hong Kong (22 June), and Namibia vs Nigeria (23 June) before attention shifts to the 50-over segment. The schedule for the 50-over leg has not been revealed yet.

The tournament is an important platform for increasing international exposure among Associate cricket nations and preparing to feature against some of the best cricket teams in the future.

Namibia Tri Series 2026 Squads

The home side, Namibia, as well as Hong Kong, have not officially announced their squad for the tri-series. Meanwhile, Nigeria named a 16-member squad for the upcoming series. We will provide an update as soon as there is an official release of the squads of Namibia and Hong Kong.
