Pakistan Set to Host Bangladesh in Historic T20I Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan for a five-match T20I series beginning at the end of this month. The series will take place from May 25 to June 3, 2025. This tour will be key for both teams as they prepare for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026, to be held in India and Sri Lanka. Earlier, the tour included three ODIs and three T20Is.

However, the PCB and the BCB agreed to drop the ODIs. Instead, two more T20Is were added to enhance the preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup next year. In a recent statement, the PCB made it clear that this decision will help both teams focus on the T20 format ahead of the major tournament next year. Reportedly, Bangladesh will arrive in Pakistan on May 21. The team will have training sessions at the Iqbal Stadium from May 22 to 24.

The first two T20Is of the Pakistan vs Bangladesh series will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on May 25 and 27.
