India and England are set to play the third match of the five-match Test series on July 10, at the iconic Lord's in London. The first Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy saw the Three Lions beat the Indian team by five wickets. The Men in Blue made a brilliant comeback in the second match of the series, beating the English side by a huge margin of 336 runs. This makes the IND vs ENG 3rd Test an important one.

Skipper Shubman Gill was awarded Player of the Match for his record-breaking performance, scoring 269 and 161 in the first and second innings, respectively. Pacer Akash Deep shone with the ball, taking 10 wickets in a surface which was batting-friendly. India would like to continue the winning momentum in the third Test as well, while the Three Lions would be hoping for a comeback.

The England cricket board has added some pacers to its squad to strengthen the fast bowling lineup. Gus Atkinson joined Jofra Archer, Sam Cook, and Jamie Overton as the recently added players for the series. Notably, England’s fast bowling unit looked a bit weak in the first two Tests. Pacers Josh Tongue, Brydon Carse, Chris Woakes, and skipper Ben Stokes himself looked ineffective against the Indian batters.
However, now, a few changes are expected to take place for the third Test. The surface at Lord’s has mostly favored the seamers, which can be a great opportunity for England to make a comeback in the series.
India’s bowling unit is also likely to get stronger as their premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be back after missing out on the second Test. It would be interesting to see who he will replace at Lord’s. Let's have a look at the IND vs ENG Playing 11 Lord's Test.
India Playing 11 Lord's Test (Probable)
The Shubman Gill-led side is likely to make only one change, and that would be Bumrah coming back into the squad. Akash Deep played in his place and made an impact instantly. So he won’t be dropped from the third Test. Mohammed Siraj also bowled very well, taking a five-wicket haul in the first innings of the match. So, it’s Prasidh Krishna who is most likely to be replaced by Burmah, as he was less effective than the other pacers in the squad.
Apart from that, the batting department looked good. Karun Nair was the only batter who failed to make an impact, but he’s likely to get another chance as he was getting the start but was failing to convert it into a big innings. Nitish Kumar Reddy, who replaced Shardul Thakur in the second Test, failed with both bat and ball. So, he might also lose his place, but only time will tell what happens.
