Manchester Originals, who have been a part of The Hundred since its inception, have rebranded themselves with a new logo, brand identity, and ownership as RPSG Group have made a formal investment in them. RPSG Group has purchased 70% stake in the Manchester franchise which is around £80 million.

Owner Sanjiv Goenka's huge step in the global franchise leagues speaks volumes about his connectivity and interest in global cricket. Following the rebranding, the franchise's logo now features a winged elephant with a crown, symbolising power, unity, and leadership.

Manchester Originals have not yet won the title in The Hundred but have shown promising results in the past. The men's team reached the semi-finals in 2023 while the Women's team reached the finals in 2023. With a star-studded squad for the upcoming season, the franchise will hope for a different result this time around.

The auction is yet to happen where they can purchase some of the best cricketers in the world to represent them. The tournament is likely to be held in July-August 2026 window this year and it will be interesting how the rebranding works for them.
