The 15-year-old is coming on the back of a strong performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League, where he might even end up as the IPL Orange Cap winner. India are the defending champions of the Asian Games cricket edition for both men and women. The last edition of Asian Games was held in Hangzhou, China in 2022, where India's clinched gold in both men's and women's editions.
