Virat Kohli Gets Closer to Sachin Tendulkar's Record

During the India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI, Virat Kohli hundred came off 91 balls. Overall, this was his 85th century in international cricket. The 37-year-old cricketer is now just 15 centuries behind Sachin Tendulkar in the tally. While he missed out on a well deserving century in the first match by just seven runs, he made sure to grab the opportunity in this match.

It was his 54th century in the ODI cricket. However, he was dismissed by Kristian Clarke on 124 off 108 balls, including ten boundaries and three sixes. Following his wicket, India were bowled out for 296 runs, losing the series, 2-1. Harshit Rana went on to score a half-century but was dismissed on 52 off 43 balls.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 53 off 57 balls, including two boundaries and sixes. For New Zealand, Zakary Foulkes and Kristian Clarke claimed three wickets each while Jayden Lennox took two wickets. New Zealand's young team played incredible cricket throughout the series. as they defeated one of the best cricket teams in the world. After the ODI matches, the teams will engage in a 5-match ODI series, starting on January 21.
