The 3rd Test match of the Tendulkar-Anderson series has taken a good turn as India have gotten a target of 193 runs to chase on the last day. As we write, the visitors' position doesn't look good on the Lord's pitch as they have lost eight wickets and are struggling to chase 57 more runs. The English bowlers have planned and executed the deliveries really well, dismissing most of the batters early on. Now, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are trying to take the team home.

Meanwhile, on day four, when India were bowling, the world's no. 1 bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, was fielding near the boundary when a fan asked him to take a wicket. The video went viral on social media as the fan said, “Jasprit, I want a wicket.” Bumrah's reaction to this was quite hilarious. He gestured with his hands and asked the fan to take the wicket himself in a cheeky manner. The fan responded with, “Love you, bhaiya.”

Indian Batting Order Failure

Despite having a small target to chase, 193 runs, the Indian batters have failed to prove their worth once again. In a pressure situation, on day five, the middle order couldn't even touch the double digits, which is quite disappointing. India's innings started with a heartbreak as Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed on a duck. Losing one of the best batters shook the team for a bit, but Karun Nair and KL Rahul somehow handled the pressure at that moment. However, India lost Nair, who was batting on 14 runs and was forming a partnership with Rahul.

After his dismissal, captain Shubman Gill followed him back to the pavilion within no time. He was dismissed on just six runs. As the day was about to end, the management sent Akash Deep as a night-watchman to save a wicket for the team. Unfortunately, on the last ball of the match, he was dismissed by English captain Ben Stokes. 58-4 at the end of day four.

England Clinch Thrilling Win

When the last day started, India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant walked in alongside KL Rahul. While it looked like a risky move, the vice-captain was expected to put up some runs on the board. But after scoring two boundaries, Pant (9) was dismissed by Jofra Archer with a brilliant delivery. Soon after Pant's dismissal, even Rahul lost his wicket on 39 runs. After that, the rest of the batters kept coming and going, but Ravindra Jadeja stuck around for some time. Jadeja showed great fight with the tail, with Bumrah and Siraj providing him good support at the other end.

However, India's vigil finally came to an end when Shoaib Bashir dismissed Mohammed Siraj to take his team to a 22-run victory. The win is sweet for England, who came back into this game numerous times despite being given a tough fight by India. On the other hand, India will be disappointed not to finish this game in their favor. The series is now 2-1 in favor of the hosts with two more Tests to be played. The next two matches will be in Manchester and The Oval, respectively.
