Team India registered a 3-2 T20I series win against New Zealand under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer. The Men in Blue had already won the series after the first three matches, however, New Zealand came back strongly to win the last two matches.

Despite losing the couple of matches, India managed to secure a series win over the hosts New Zealand. Now, it is time for the ODI format to begin, which will be followed by a two-match Test series.

The T20I format is something that Team India has been constantly playing over the last few months. However, there is a break now, which will give India's T20I players some time to breathe.

When Will India Play Next T20I Match?

India next T20 match will be played on December 22 against Sri Lanka at the Niranjan Shah Cricket Stadium, Rajkot. This will be the first T20I match of Sri Lanka's tour of India. The tour consists of three T20I matches and all of them will be played at different venues.
