Where to Watch DPL 2025 Final

The second edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is nearing its end as the finals are scheduled on August 31, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. After a month-long, the tournament is about to end. There were many matches and knocks that will be etched in the memories of the fans, especially Nitish Rana's 135 off 55 balls, including eight boundaries and 15 sixes in the Eliminator. Rana played a blistering knock and showed why he is one of the best batsmen in India.

While the Eliminator was more on the dramatic and thrilling side, Qualifier 1 turned into a one-sided affair. The Kings won the toss and chose to bowl first. It was a good decision as the Riders lost three quick wickets without any interval. They were 6-3 in 2 overs. Even the middle-order batters couldn't help much, and the team was bowled out for just 90 runs. Simarjeet Singh was the star bowler for the Kings as he claimed a fifer.

When the Central Delhi Kings came to bat, they too were 24-3, but since the score was less, they managed to win the match and reach the finals. For a brilliant bowling performance, Simarjeet Singh won the Player of the Match award. Now, the Kings are waiting patiently to face the other team that will win Qualifier 2 on August 30. The match is between the East Delhi Riders vs West Delhi Lions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

West Delhi Lions Move to Qualifier 2

The Eliminator of the DPL 2025 was a thrilling and contesting match. The West Delhi Lions won the toss and forced the South Delhi Superstarz to bat first. It was an ideal start for the Superstarz as they scored 67 runs in 7 overs without losing a wicket. However, their happiness didn't last long as Hrithik Shokeen dismissed Ankur Kaushik while he was batting on 16 off 12 balls. He looked in good touch, hitting one boundary and six.

Later, Shokeen dismissed the other opener, Anmol Sharma, who was playing on 55 off 39 balls. He had smashed seven boundaries and two sixes. Captain Tejasvi Dahiya smashed 60 off 33 balls, including two boundaries and six sixes. He formed a 104-run partnership with Sumit Mathur, who scored an unbeaten 48 off 26 balls. Both players were incredible on the field and helped the team score 201 runs in the first innings.

The Lions' start wasn't as ideal as they would have wanted it to be. They lost two quick wickets on 21 runs in just three overs. However, captain Nitish Rana's stellar performance stole the show. The left-handed batter scored an unbeaten 134 off 55 balls, including eight boundaries and 15 sixes. Rana was also involved in a brutal fight with Digvesh Rathi, one of the best bowlers in IPL 2025.

In the end. West Delhi Lions finished the match in just 17 overs on the back of Nitish Rana's century. For an incredible performance, Rana won the Player of the Match. They will face the East Delhi Riders in Qualifier 2 on August 30, in Delhi.
