During this ceremony, he was rewarded for his astonishing achievements in such a short career.

Hence, Suryavanshi, already seen as one of the most dangerous batsmen in the world, has not been named in Bihar’s playing XI for the game against Manipur on Friday. He was awarded the accolade by President Draupadi Murmu in the national capital and later is also set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the day.
It’s not just today’s match where Vaibhav Suryavanshi not playing, as per reports and his childhood coach he will likely to miss the remainder of the 50-over domestic tournament. Following the event, the southpaw is anticipated to go to Zimbabwe with the rest of the India U19 team as they get ready for the Under-19 World Cup, which starts on January 15.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Recent Form

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been one of the standout figures in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well as in the U19 Asia Cup. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy opener against Arunachal Pradesh, the 14-year old delivered another standout performance, scoring 190 off just 84 balls. His knock was studded with 16 fours and 15 sixes at a brilliant strike rate of 226.19.

He reached his century in only 36 deliveries, becoming the youngest centurion in List-A cricket history and also helping Bihar post a world record score of 574/6 in 50 overs. Over the period of his career, the youngster has shown all the credentials to become the best opener in the world in future.

Earlier, Suryavanshi was seen in action during the U19 Asia Cup where he scored 171 in the opening game against the United Arab Emirates. At just 14, the youngster already has 701 runs from just 18 T20s to his name and averages 41.23 with the bat.
