Eduardo Quaresma was born and raised in Barreiro, Portugal, on 2nd March 2002. The Portuguese international started his career as a central defender at Fabril at the age of 3. In 2011, he joined Sporting CP's youth academy, and after graduating from the academy, he joined Sporting's senior team. He is a distant relative of Brazilian legend Zico and a distant cousin of Portuguese legend Ricardo Quaresma through his mother. His parents' information is not available, but we can assume that his parents are a Portuguese descent. In May 2020, the club rejected a €5 million offer from AC Milan, and RB Leipzig and Serie A side Inter Milan were also interested in him, but he stayed loyal to his parent club and signed a senior contract with them.
In 2021-2023, he was out on loan. In July 2021, Quaresma was loaned to Tondela for one year without a buyout option. On 4th August 2022, Eduardo Quaresma joined Hoffenheim on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent afterwards. Eduardo Quresma returned from the loan to his parent club in the 2023 summer transfer window. Quaresma represented Portugal at under-15, under-16, under-17, under-18, and under-19 levels, totalling 36 caps. He made his debut for the under-21s on 6 September 2021, in a 1–0 win over Belarus in the 2023 UEFA European Championship qualifiers held in Amadora.
