Not born in a family that passed the inspiration of football through generations, Cazorla still grew up in a family where football was celebrated and loved. His father, Jose Manuel, an ambulance driver, was a huge Oviedo fan, and Cazorla also ended up being a big fan of the club from his childhood days. Santi Cazorla family provided great support for him to pursue a football career, and especially his father played a key role in his career. When he was eight years old, Cazorla joined the youth team of Oviedo and was forced to leave the team at the age of 18, even before debuting, because the club faced a huge financial crisis.
Santi Cazorla wife is Ursula Santirso. They have been married for a long time now and maintain a private life. His wife's presence has been at various events and matches to support him occasionally. The couple have two children.
