Santi Cazorla is Spanish football’s most beloved and technical midfielder. Born on December 13, 1984, in Llanera, Asturias, he began his career at Real Oviedo before establishing himself at Villarreal. Over the years, he built a reputation for his creativity, close control, and the rare ability to use both feet with equal brilliance. His time at Arsenal turned him into a fan favourite, though it was also marked by a serious Achilles injury that nearly ended his career. Against all odds, Cazorla made a remarkable comeback, even returning to Villarreal and later rejoining boyhood club Real Oviedo in 2023. With over 80 appearances for Spain, he played a key role in their victories at Euro 2008 and Euro 2012.
