Bayern controlled possession but struggled to break through St. Pauli’s organized and disciplined defense. For much of the first half, the hosts looked frustrated and short of ideas. The equalizer finally came just before halftime, when Raphaël Guerreiro scored a vital goal.
The second half was one-way traffic. Bayern attacked constantly and hit the woodwork three times. St. Pauli defended bravely and seemed close to securing a famous point. But in stoppage time, the pressure proved too much. Luis Díaz scored, and a late substitute added another to complete a 3–1 comeback victory.

Min-jae Kim - 7.5: Absolutely dominant in the air, winning a staggering 9 aerial duels. He was a commanding presence before being substituted. What stood out to us was his comfort on the ball, completing 96% of his passes. A very solid outing from the defender.
Jonathan Tah - 7.0: A true monolith at the back, touching the ball 177 times and completing 159 passes. He was the hub through which everything flowed. However, he gets marked down slightly for a clumsy challenge that earned him a late yellow card. Overall, a commanding performance.
Konrad Laimer - 5.0: A really difficult game for him. His error led directly to St. Pauli's shock opener, a moment that put his team on the back foot. He was hooked at halftime, which tells its own story. A performance to forget.
Tom Bischof - 6.5: Very involved with 123 touches, but lacked a decisive final ball. He hit the woodwork and had several shots blocked. You could see the effort was there, constantly trying to make things happen, but his end product just wasn't there on the night.
