In the 8th minute of the game, Raphinha tested the Paraguayan goalkeeper from outside the box with his left, but the shot was easily saved by the keeper.

Brazil National Football Team started to pick up the momentum as in the 12th minute, Cunha's pass was almost guided by Vinicius Jr, whose touch on the ball was not enough to see the ball go to the net.

GK- Alisson Becker- 5/10

Alisson Becker was not tested at all throughout the first half. The Liverpool keeper had an unproductive first half but enjoyed the 1st goal of the match.

Defenders

RB- Vanderson- 5/10

It was a busy day for Vanderson. Ancelotti gave him the green light to go forward and be in a higher position on the pitch, and the right back did just that.

CB- Marquinhos- 7/10

What composure in the back from Marquinhos. The Champions League Winner brought his A-game in the defense today and led the line with his commanding and calming presence.

CB- Riberio- 6/10

Riberio was a great center-back partner of Marquinhos today. Maintained the defensive line well and opted for smart passing to get away from the Paraguayan press and launch counter-attacks.

LB- Alex Sandro- 6/10

Alex Sandro caught Gomez in the face with his arm, and the referee was there to spot it and halt the game. It went on swiftly.

Midfielders

CM- Bruno Guimaraes- 6/10

Bruno Guimaraes was exceptional in the Brazilian midfield today. He kept his cool and looked sharp whether the team was backpedaling to defend or wanted to go forward. He was moving the ball more smoothly after his team got the lead in the late first half. However, he picked up a yellow card at the end of the first half for a rash challenge.

CM- Casemiro- 5.5/10

Casemiro is a completely different player when he is playing for the Brazil National Football Team, and it shows in every game, including this. The Brazilian had a great first half with his offensive and defensive duties, playing alongside Bruno Guimaraes.

CAM- Matheus Cunha- 6/10

Matheus Cunha had a decent game but made quite a few wrong decisions, with the biggest being laying the ball by Martinelli off for a teammate instead of attempting the open goal himself in the 35th minute. He bagged the assist for Vinicius Jr's goal.

Forwards

RW- Raphinha- 6/10

Raphinha tested the Paraguayan keeper early in the game. For the rest of the first half, he was exceptional while Brazil was counter-attacking after coming out of the Paraguayan press. He dropped deep from time to time to give his team an extra man in the midfield to provide more width.

ST- Vinicius Jr- 6.5/10

Vinicius Jr picked up the first yellow card for the Brazil National Football Team after committing a cheap foul. As things stand, he will miss the next match of the Brazilian National Football Team. He scored the first goal of the game.

LW- Gabriel Martinelli- 5/10

Gabriel Martinelli had a quiet first half. Still, the Brazilian made quite a few quality deliveries in the box, which were not converted initially by the Brazil National Football Team forwards. He endured a blow on his lower back in the 50th minute.
