From our perspective, Sassuolo looked shell-shocked from the very first whistle. Their defense was in complete disarray. Como's attackers took full advantage of every single mistake. It felt like every forward pass from the home side carved open the visiting backline with ease.

The 3-0 scoreline honestly didn't flatter Como; it was a true reflection of their absolute dominance in this match. The second half was a more subdued affair, a classic case of game management from the winning team. Sassuolo tried to find a way back but never really looked like mounting a serious comeback, a disappointing showing for their fans.

Jean Butez - 7.0: It was a quiet evening for the keeper, which is a testament to his defense. He made two saves when called upon, both from inside the box. We noticed his comfort on the ball too, with a 93% pass accuracy. He even got forward and tested the keeper with a header. A really commanding performance that laid the foundation for the win.

Edoardo Goldaniga - 6.5: A solid, if unspectacular, partner to Kempf. He kept possession well and made four important clearances. However he didn't impose himself on the game in the same way his defensive colleague did. He was tidy and did his job without any fuss. A decent outing overall.

Alberto Moreno - 7.0: Moreno had the most touches of anyone on the pitch, which shows how involved he was. He was a constant outlet on the left, recycling possession and keeping the tempo high. Defensively he wasn't tested much, but his role in controlling the game was crucial. He was the metronome of the backline.

Stefan Posch - 6.5: An energetic 45 minutes from the defender. He was a menace on the right, winning 8 of 9 duels and drawing fouls. The only blot on his copybook was a big chance missed in the box. It was a shame to see him subbed at halftime as he was causing problems.

Midfielders

Maxence Caqueret - 8.5: What a performance. This guy was everywhere. He provided a brilliant assist, but it was his defensive work that really caught our eye with 12 ball recoveries and 5 interceptions. He completely ran the midfield battle. A true engine room performance and a contender for man of the match.

Jesús Rodríguez - 9.0: The star of the show. He played just 46 minutes but lit up the stadium with two clinical goals. His movement was sharp and his finishing was ruthless. Two shots, two goals - you can't ask for more. He was taken off at halftime with the job done. An absolutely outstanding contribution and our man of the match.

Martin Baturina - 8.0: The creative hub of the team. He created a whopping five chances, including two big ones, and got an assist for his efforts. He was a nightmare for the Sassuolo midfield, drawing six fouls as they struggled to contain him. His vision and passing were a joy to watch throughout his time on the pitch.

Lucas Da Cunha - 7.5: The captain led by example. He was calm and composed in possession, dictating play with an impressive 93% pass accuracy. Nicolas Kühn - 6.0: Came on at halftime when the game was already won. Looked tidy but didn't have a major impact on proceedings.

Álvaro Morata - 6.0: Replaced the goalscorer Douvikas and was caught offside a couple of times. Had one shot blocked but the intensity had dropped by then.

Stefano Turati - 6.0: A difficult night for the keeper. He conceded three goals, but honestly, he was left horribly exposed by his defense. He also made four saves, including a couple of really good ones, which prevented an even bigger defeat. From our perspective, he can't be blamed for the result.

Defenders

Fali Candé - 4.0: Really struggled against Como's fluid attack. He lost 7 of his 11 duels and looked off the pace all game. Picked up a deserved yellow card for a clumsy challenge. A performance he will want to forget quickly. Just not his night.

Edoardo Pieragnolo - 3.0: A nightmare performance from the defender. His error directly led to a goal, a moment that completely deflated his team. He was dribbled past three times and also received a yellow card. It was a relief for him when he was substituted after 70 minutes. Easily the worst performer on the pitch.

Filippo Romagna - 5.0: The captain tried to hold a sinking ship together. He was a bit more composed than his defensive partners, making four clearances and a tackle. However, as the leader of a backline that conceded three first-half goals, he has to take some responsibility. It was a thankless task for him.

Edoardo Iannoni - 4.0: Another player with a costly error leading to a goal. He lost possession 14 times and struggled to make any positive impact on the game. His decision-making was poor, and he looked overwhelmed by the pace and movement of the home side. A very poor showing.

Forwards

Cristian Volpato - 4.5: Had a couple of wayward shots from distance but was otherwise anonymous. He failed to get into the game and offer any real threat to the Como defense. He was substituted after a frustrating and ineffective 69 minutes on the field.

Walid Cheddira - 3.5: From our perspective, this was a shocking performance. He won just two of his fourteen duels, an abysmal return for a striker. He was dispossessed three times and offered absolutely no focal point for his team's attack. Completely nullified by Kempf.

Alieu Fadera - 4.0: Similar to his fellow forwards, he offered very little. He was flagged for offside, lost 9 duels, and was generally ineffective. He couldn't get the better of his full-back and was easily marked out of the game. A frustrating night for the attacker.
