It was a tense and ultimately frustrating evening for the home side at the Juventus Stadium, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by a resilient Hellas Verona side. What stood out to us was the sheer determination of the visitors, who seemed to have a clear game plan from the first whistle. They executed it perfectly, taking a shock lead in the first half.

Michele Di Gregorio - 6.0: Had very little to do for large parts of the game. He was left exposed for the goal and could do nothing about it. Made a couple of routine saves but was largely a spectator as his team dominated possession. A quiet night for the keeper.

Defenders

Bremer - 6.5: A mixed bag of a performance from the defender. He was an absolute beast in the air, winning nine aerial duels. However, a costly error led to a goal that tarnishes his rating significantly. He was unlucky to hit the woodwork with a header but the defensive mistake was a major blight on an otherwise solid outing.

Lloyd Kelly - 7.0: Looked very comfortable on the ball, boasting a 91% pass accuracy. He contributed to the attack with some good forward passes before he was substituted. Defensively, he was solid and didn't put a foot wrong. A reliable performance from the Englishman.

Pierre Kalulu - 6.5: A decent shift from the right-back. He got forward to support the attack, whipping in a few decent crosses. He won most of his duels and was generally tidy in possession. Didn't do anything spectacular, but it was a competent performance.

Midfielders

Manuel Locatelli - 7.0: The captain led by example in the heart of midfield. He was everywhere, dictating the tempo with an incredible 116 passes. His yellow card was a result of his commitment. He perhaps could have offered more creativity in the final third, but he kept the team ticking over.

Khéphren Thuram - 5.0: A night to forget for the Frenchman. He struggled to get into the game and looked off the pace from the start. He was rightly substituted at halftime after having minimal impact. We noticed he missed a big chance which summed up his frustrating 45 minutes.

Weston McKennie - 7.5: We thought he was excellent. A typically all-action performance from the American. He created two chances, including one big chance, and was tenacious in the tackle, winning 100% of his attempts. His energy and drive were key to Juventus's second-half dominance.

Andrea Cambiaso - 8.0: Our highest-rated player for Juventus. He was the creative genius for the home side, creating an astonishing five chances. His vision and passing were a joy to watch, and he was a constant threat. It's a shame his teammates couldn't convert the opportunities he provided. An outstanding performance.

Forwards

Francisco Conceição - 7.5: A livewire on the wing. He was a nightmare for the Hellas Verona defence, attempting five dribbles and getting four shots away. His final product was sometimes lacking, but his directness and willingness to take players on were impressive. He was a constant source of danger.

Lorenzo Montipò - 8.0: An absolutely heroic performance. He made five saves, all from inside the box, to keep his team in the game. From our perspective, he was the man of the match. His command of his area and shot-stopping were first-class. A truly brilliant display.

Defenders

Martin Frese - 6.5: Had a very busy evening against Juventus's tricky wingers. He made an incredible four blocks and three tackles. He was booked but that was a testament to his combative style. He was a key part of Verona's defensive wall.

Andrias Edmundsson - 7.5: What a colossal performance. He was a giant at the back, making an unbelievable 15 clearances. He won all of his duels and read the game impeccably. An old-school defensive masterclass that was a pleasure to watch.

Rafik Belghali - 6.0: It was a tough night for the defender, who was constantly under pressure. He made some important clearances but was sometimes exposed by the quality of the Juventus attack. A battling performance, but he was stretched.
