A bad 1st touch, followed by the choice of foot, prevented him from scoring. A 1-2 with Guler almost opened up a great chance for Mbappe, but the shot went flying.

The game was all in Real Madrid's control by the 30th-minute mark, with the Los Blancos spending the majority of their time in the opposition box. In the 37th minute, Real Madrid won a penalty. Both teams made some much-needed changes in the second half, and Sociedad seemed to slowly see more control of the game with their tight passing. But Real Madrid's counter seemed to pose a lot of threat and a promise to double up on their lead.

A triple substitution made by Sociedad to change the course of the game, and they looked dangerous ever since then. At the 74th minute, the travelling team almost Lucas Vázquez was taken off the game in the 75th minute. It was his last match in a Real Madrid shirt, and he was appreciated by the fans with cheers.

In the 79th minute, Mbappe had another go at the goal, but his shot was saved again. A sleek pass from Vini Jr at the 83rd minute to Mbappe saw the Frenchman score another goal. It was 2-0! Modric was substituted in the 86th minute, and he received a guard of honor from both teams in the field. What a Legend!

GK- Andriy Lunin- 5.5/10

Throughout the first half, Lunin only had to make one save. He did well to deny Sergio in the early minutes. The rest of the game was just another day for the Madrid goalkeeper. The goalkeeper almost made a disastrous choice during the 39th minute when he stepped out of his goalpost to clear a ball.

LB- Fran Garcia- 6/10

Fran Garcia had a good game today you considering the left-back's recent performances. He spent the majority of the time in the first half attacking from the left flank and created multiple chances.

CB- Raul Asencio- 5/10

Raul had the green light to spend more time on the other half today. He was seen attempting to score from outside the box multiple times in the first half. He also tried a bicycle kick during a corner.

CB- Aurelien Tchouameni- 5.5/10

Tchouameni was leading the back line of Real Madrid today. He was given the most defensive responsibilities as the Frenchman was seen holding the line back to their half whenever their team went forward.

RB- Lucas Vazquez- 6/10

It is, in fact, astonishing how Lucas Vasquez is still an integral part of this Real Madrid squad. Like every other game this season, he was the card of assurance for Ancelotti as the right back was just as effective going forward as he is with his defensive duties. It was his last game today as well.

RM- Federico Valverde- 6/10

Valverde, along with Modric, controlled the tempo of the game since the early minutes. Their quick passing through the lines helped break the midfield line of Sociedad multiple times, which eventually opened up a lot of chances for the Los Blancos.

CM- Luka Modric- 6.5/10

It was Luka's last match for the Los Blancos. The Croatian was the captain of the team today. It was a special match at the Bernabeu today. Throughout the minutes he played, he was in control of his team's approach to the game.

CM- Dani Ceballos- 5/10

Dani Ceballos had a great game today as well. The Spaniard found the pocket spaces in between the lines and became the extra man in short spaces to give his midfield the edge over the opposition.

What a player Arda Guler is turning out to be! The Turkish player was seen in a higher position on the field today. But that did not stop him from playing with his mind. Guler created a lot of opportunities for his team with his quick through-passing to open up the compact blocks.

ST- Kylian Mbappe- 7.5/10

Mbappe's play style has changed drastically since he arrived in La Liga. He has become a more hardworking player, and today we saw a glimpse of that. His positioning and awareness allowed him to create multiple chances for himself. Moreover, his knowledge about his teammates and how they pass will become a strong asset for the Frenchman in the coming seasons. He scored the first goal of the match off a penalty rebound. Scored the second goal with a great left-footed finish.
