Battlegrounds Mobile India has officially rolled out the 4.0 update for all Android users on September 11th, 2025. The current 3.9 version of the game, 'Transformers Crossover', is scheduled to depart today. The new 4.0 update has been named 'Spooky Soiree'. It will bring a new ghostly theme to the game that aligns with the upcoming Halloween holidays.

The new update of the game will also bring with it a new companion, mortar weapons and a new mode. The mode is also rumoured to unveil a new location on the BGMI maps called 'Wraithmoor Mansion'. This mansion is based on a supernatural theme that aligns with the upcoming festival month.
