Krafton Introduces First Original In-Game Character Kiaraa in BGMI: All You Need To Know

KRAFTON India has expanded the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA universe with Kiaraa, its latest original character. She has been fully designed by the company’s in-house art team in India. The update also adds a new Erangel location, a boss fight, and an India-specific Prize Path. You can learn all about it right here.

BGMI Kiaraa Arrives In 4.6 Update

The BGMI Kiaraa character release date is October 8, 2026. KRAFTON India will introduce the character with the BGMI 4.6 update, along with Kiaraa’s Erangel Bazaar and other related content. Once Kiaraa arrives, players can explore her world through these new additions.

The new character, BGMI Kiaraa, will be at the centre of all-new gameplay features. Kiaraa is connected to a new Diwali-themed Bazaar on Erangel. Players can explore the location and take part in different activities related to her story.

The Bazaar features Indian-inspired visuals and will host new festive activities. It is also the second India-themed location in BGMI, following the Stepwell.

Alongside Kiaraa’s arrival, players can catch up on another major update highlight in BGMI 4.6 Update: Revives Fan-Favorite Ocean Odyssey Mode.

Kiaraa’s Test Brings a New Boss Fight to Erangel

The Bazaar is not just a place to explore. It will also feature Kiaraa’s Test, where players will have to team up for the boss fight. To summon BGMI Kiaraa, players need to find four peacock-shaped lamps placed around the Bazaar courtyard. After activating all four summon points, Kiaraa will appear, and the Boss Fight will begin.

Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection Packs Festive Rewards

Additionally, KRAFTON India is introducing the Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection, which players can unlock through the Kiaraa Nakshatra Spin. The collection includes several themed items based on Kiaraa, weapons, and vehicles. Some of the items include:

BGMI’s First India-Exclusive Prize Path Is Coming

BGMI's new character Kiaraa’s arrival is also connected to the Diwali Prize Path. It's the first Prize Path created specifically for India. The progression event will run from October 22 to November 15 and will have 20 stages. Players can progress through these stages to unlock festive rewards, including the Revel 01 Set and Diwali Gold Set.

With BGMI character Kiaraa, KRAFTON India is taking a step forward towards building more India-centric content. The character comes with her own story, Erangel location, boss fight, and themed collection. With the new Bazaar and boss fight, Kiaraa could become one of the more distinctive additions in the upcoming update for the community to look forward to.
