Supercell Brings the Clash of Clans June Update With Multiple New Additions and a Plethora of Changes

Supercell has finally shared a bunch of creator sneak peeks for the much-awaited Clash of Clans June 2026 Update. The update focuses on providing progression for Town Hall 18 players, besides adding new ways for new and returning players to earn the necessary Ores and Epic Equipment.
The Clash of Clans Update is expected to go live around June 16th, introducing a new Dark Elixir Troop, a new Dark Elixir Spell, along with a long list of necessary Balance Changes.

Clash of Clans June 2026 Update: New Additions

The update arriving today has some considerable new additions, including the new Dark Elixir Troop: Ruin Witch and Dark Elixir Spell: Angry Spell. Both the new additions serve as new endgame content for maxed-out players, besides bringing more changes to the game's already volatile meta.

Ruin Witch and Angry Spell

The upcoming CoC Update also introduces the Clash of Clans Ruin Witch troop alongside the Angry Spell. Together, they provide new offensive options for players experimenting with the new meta. The Ruin Witch spawns tanky Ruin Knights in front of her, while the Angry Spell redirects affected troops toward defenses temporarily.

New Hero Journey Feature

Finally, Supercell is introducing more ways to earn Epic Equipment and Ores with the upcoming Clash of Clans June 2026 Update. The Clash of Clans Heroes Journey feature is designed to make long-term Hero progression rewarding by providing Ores and other in-game resources based on cumulative Hero development.

The Hero Journey becomes available through the Hero Hall starting from Town Hall 7. It tracks progress using the combined levels of all Heroes. Existing maxed-out players will also receive progression based on their current Hero levels after the update goes live.

Fast Forward Button

The boring moments at the end of an attack are addressed by one of the most sought-after quality-of-life improvements. There will be no more situations where a single unit slowly erodes a high-health building as the clock is running out, thanks to a brand-new Battle Fast Forward button.

A new Fast Forward icon will appear on the screen once precisely two minutes of your Home Village attack have passed. The battlefield pace is immediately increased by four times when this button is tapped. Another tap automatically returns the gameplay to the regular 1x speed if the situation changes quickly.

Global Chat Returns to Clash of Clans

Finally, after an extended period of 7 years, The Clash of Clans Global Chat is returning! The Global Chat feature was previously discarded due to a lack of moderation. After multiple requests from the community, the feature is making a comeback with a total makeover!

The Global Chat has been rebuilt from the ground up with better tools, better safety systems, and three new ways to connect! A new Social Tab is coming as well, serving as the Hub for your in-game interactions, including your Clan Chat! Unlike other features, the Global Chat is scheduled to go live on June 17th!

New Hero, Building, and Supercharge Levels

The Clash of Clans June 2026 Update places a strong focus on high-level development. It introduces major level increases. These changes help improve both attacking and defending powers. The following are the building-level progressions coming with the Clash of Clans Update:

• Monolith: Level 5 (TH18)
• Builder's Hut: Level 8 (TH18)
• Dark Barracks: Level 13 (TH16)
• Dark Spell Factory: Level 8 (TH15)

To tackle challenging in-game battles, heroes are getting a much-needed boost. The Grand Warden's cap rises to level 85. Moreover, the Barbarian King and Archer Queen can now scale between levels 106 and 110.

New Town Hall 18 Supercharge levels for two crucial defensive assets are also being introduced. Once upgraded to the max levels, players can formally add Supercharge improvements to their X-Bows and Scattershots to improve their defense.

Clan Capital Changes: Treasury Improvements

Raid Weekends is undergoing structural changes to combat greedy raiders that switch between clans solely to steal resources. In the future, if a player meets all of these requirements, they are unable to participate in Capital Raids:

• Haven't completed an attack in the clan yet.
• They are not an Elder, Co-Leader, or Leader. Instead, they have a regular Member rank.
• Joined the clan after the specific Raid Weekend window commenced.
• The clan's settings are not configured to invite only or be closed.

Moreover, maxed-out Clans are getting a viable dump resource option. Once your Capital is completely maxed, a new Treasury button activates on the Capital Hall layout. This allows members to deposit leftover Capital Gold directly into a collective Treasury pool.
