As of today, the Beta for version 4.2 has gone live, and since then, social media have been flooded with multiple leaks about these characters and their kits, which seem amazing. Let's discuss the new character leaks, getting a brief idea of which character to pull for in the upcoming HSR 4.2v.

1. Silver Wolf Lvl 999

Silver Wolf Lvl 999 is an upcoming 5-star Imaginary Elation unit and a member of the Stellaron Hunters. Let's check out the details of her leak kit and how she might be the new meta DPS for the Elation meta.

• Basic ATK - Will deal Imaginary DMG on a single target, which will be equal to 100% of Silver Wolf Lvl 999 ATKs.
  Her Basic ATK will have an enhanced version, which will deal AoE damage to any random enemy among the present ones.
• Skill - She will gain 6 punchlines and will deal Imaginary DMG equal to 160% of her ATKs.
• Ultimate - Upon applying Ultimate, she gains 80 “Hidden Ranking” points and enters a certain state during which her action gets advanced 100%, and deploys a zone. In that zone, if any ally consumes a skill point, then it will trigger 1 instance of Silver Wolf Lv. 999 Premium Supply Mystery Box, which can dish out massive Imaginary DMG on a designated target.

Even her Signature Light Cone was leaked, which is “Welcome to the City of Stars,” a 5-star Elation Path Light Cone, and can buff its users' ATK by 65/80/95/112/128%. With a stat like that, this LC is worth pulling. We had previously covered when Silver Wolf LV999 was initially revealed as part of Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Drip Marketing.

2. Evanescia

Evanescia, the first character we met when the Astral Express entered the Planarcadia, was a long-eared, pink-haired girl sitting on top of a tree reading comics. She will be an upcoming 5-star Physical Elation character. Her lore details are still unknown; however, we expect more will be revealed in the upcoming 4.1v Trailblaze Quest.

As per her leaked kit:

• Basic ATK - She will deal 140% of her ATK on a fixed target.
• Skill - Her skill allows her to deal Physical DMG on a fixed target that will be 480% of her ATK stats. She will also deal Physical DMG to the other enemies on the field, but it will be 240% of her ATK stats. In short, she will be a single-target specialist.
• Ultimate - Will deal Physical DMG to all the enemies who are on the field, and the ultimate will scale on her ATK stats.

From these early beta leaks, we are sure of one thing: she will need a lot of ATK% stat during her build. The upcoming LC name is Encounter at Flowering's Coming. This LC will provide massive Crit DMG and Energy Regeneration buff, definitely a must pull with such passive stats. The new 5-Star Character, Evanescia, was initially revealed last week as part of Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Drip Marketing.

3. Elation Trailblazer

Finally, Elation Trailblazer will be unlocking their fifth playable Path, as revealed as part of the Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Drip Marketing, and it's the newly introduced Elation Path. As for lore details like how they unlocked it, it is still under wraps, and we would have to wait for the future Special Program Livestream. Their Kit are as follows:

• Basic ATK - Deals lightning DMG, which will be 100% of their ATK stat.
• Skill - Will deal Lightning DMG on a fixed target, which will be 50% of their ATK stat, while gaining 20 points of “Certified Banger”.
• Ultimate - Elation MC will provide a massive buff to a unit, like CRIT DMG boost, dispel CC debuffs. And if they are an Elation unit, then they will gain 10 points of “Certified Banger” and will use their Elation Skill again.

Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Release Date

Honkai Star Rail version 4.2 is expected to drop around late April, probably on 20-21, April 2026. In this upcoming version, two new characters will be making their debut, and they are Silver Wolf Lv. 999 and Evanescia. Along with them, some re-run banners are expected.
