Following the end of his duty, he returned to his hotel room and the next morning he was in discomfort. He was being contacted by hotel staff continuously, but when there was no response, the staff accessed the room using a master key.

As they entered the room, Langford was lying unconscious on the floor. The staff immediately contacted doctors, but he was declared dead on the spot. His body was later shifted to Bombay Hospital for further procedures. The Engineer death in IPL shocked the hotel staff and they immediately contacted Mumbai Police.

Jan William Langford Death Case Registered

After Jan William Langford was found dead in his hotel room, Mumbai Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Upon the investigation, it was learned that there were no signs of foul play.

However, the police officials are following the procedures to ensure a thorough inquiry. As per the investigations, the case is being treated as an unnatural death until all formalities are completed and the exact circumstances are established.
