BCCI action on Navdeep Saini

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has witnessed a large number of controversies and altercations in the ongoing season. The BCCI has been monitoring and taking steps and actions in order to continue the league without any major problem. From smoking to vlogging, IPL 2026 has seen many incidents being viral on the social media platforms.

Kolkata Knight Riders bowler Navdeep Saini and his wife Swati Asthana have been vlogging throughout the whole season in their team hotel. They are seen sharing various updates regarding the team, players, practice sessions, matches, and other stuff.

Navdeep Saini vlogs with his wife Swati Asthana has been coming into the radar these days due to the ban of Arshdeep Singh's social media. The BCCI has been getting stricter these days in order to prevent more controversies and altercations in the remaining matches of the tournament.

Will BCCI Take Any Action Against Navdeep Saini and His Wife?

Navdeep Saini, the speedster of Kolkata Knight Riders, has been known to vlog with his wife Swati Asthana on her YouTube channel all throughout the year. They have been showcasing their day-to-day life in their vlogs with both Navdeep and Swati recording their respective POVs.

On one hand, Navdeep, one of the fastest bowlers in India, records and showcases the off-the-field life of a cricketer along with their practice and gym sessions. On the other hand, Swati shares about her life and journey in the vlogs.

However, they are being noticed now due to a BCCI ban on making vlogs during the IPL. But BCCI action on Navdeep Saini is unlikely as the couple hasn't done anything unethical or against the guidelines of the board. The vlogging in IPL is not completely banned but is highly restricted.

They have been respecting and following the rules and regulations set up by the BCCI and are not liable to face any action by the organization. Meanwhile, the BCCI can tell them to stop recording and sharing from the team hotel if he is found to be breaching the protocols.

What Is the IPL Vlogging Controversy?

The ongoing Indian Premier League season has been swarming with various controversies which has been a headache for the BCCI, the richest cricket board in the world. Vlogging has been an effective medium to contribute the sources of these altercations. Punjab Kings bowler Arshdeep Singh was recording a vlog in which the team was travelling ahead of their next match.

In that vlog, a clip was compromised where his fellow teammate Yuzvendra Chahal was seen vaping. This incident went viral all over the internet and caused a great amount of discomfort. This also resulted in the banning of vlogging and social media of Arshdeep Singh by the BCCI and Punjab Kings management.
