Saudi Pro League winners Al Hilal maintained their unbeaten run in the domestic league after securing a late equaliser against Al Nassr, thanks to Ronaldo’s miss in the 26th minute of the tie.

Al Nassr fans have been left in disbelief when Cristiano Ronaldo missed a golden opportunity to double their lead against arch-rivals Al Hilal who have remained unbeaten in the domestic league this campaign.

The hosts had the perfect start to the night when Otavio scored a long-range screamer in the top-right corner from a Ronaldo assist. The Portuguese had a great chance to make it 2-0 in the 10th minute but it was a poor display by the veteran who missed another crucial chance two minutes later.

It had been a wasteful performance from the Real Madrid and Manchester United legend, as he failed to land any of his three shots on target.
