8. South Africa | 1 title | 1998

The Proteas were the best team at one point in time, but have only won one Champions Trophy title so far, in 1998. There have been times when they have reached the knockouts of ICC tournaments but were not able to win them. Recently, they qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 final but lost to India there. This time, they have qualified for the WTC 2025 final to play against Australia and will be aiming to end their trophy drought.

7. New Zealand | 2 titles | 2000, 2021

New Zealand have won only two ICC trophies so far despite having done quite well on the international stage. They haven't won any World Cups yet, but have won one Champions Trophy in 2000 and WTC in 2021, defeating India in the final on both occasions. The team has some of the best cricketers in the world, and it’s hard to believe that they haven't won a single World Cup yet. One of the most dominant teams in the world, England, have won just three ICC Trophies, which is quite surprising. 5. Sri Lanka | 3 titles | 1996, 2002, 2014

Sri Lanka have won three ICC trophies so far, with the last one being in 2014. They have one trophy in each tournament, except the WTC. They won the ODI World Cup (1996), Champions Trophy (2002), and T20 World Cup (2014). With their current cricket performance across formats, it’s difficult for them to win more trophies anytime soon.

They have won two ODI World Cups (1975 and 1979), two T20 World Cups (2012 and 2016), and one Champions Trophy (2004).
