West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry suffered an unfortunate injury during her team's second warm-up match against Australia. Being one of the most dangerous batters in women's cricket, Henry is seen as a key player for West Indies this tournament.

However, she suffered a leg injury while attempting for a catch during the warm-up game against Australia. She lost he footing and landed heavily on the ground. As a result, she was taken off the field on a stretcher, raising concerns of her future participation in this tournament.
