What is PAK U19 Prize Money Given by Mohsin Naqvi?

Following Pakistan's Under-19 Asia Cup victory, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced a substantial cash reward for the members of the Pakistan Under-19 team. As a gesture of celebrating their historic triumph over India in the final, each member of the winning squad will be handed PKR 50 lakh as PAK U19 prize money for winning the tournament.

The announcement of Mohsin Naqvi prize for PAK U19 players was made immediately after the Pakistani team had secured the trophy. Later in the IND vs PAK U19 Asia Cup final, the India U19 players avoided going up on the main stage where Mohsin Naqvi was present and instead collected their runners-up medals away from the podium from an ACC representative.

Post that, Naqvi personally handed over the winners’ medals to the Pakistan U19 squad and spent time taking pictures with each player. He then kept his ACC role aside for a while to embrace his responsibilities as PCB chairman, joining Farhan Yousaf and his teammates in celebrating the title.

Pakistan Beat India by 191 Runs in U19 Asia Cup 2025 Final

The final of the U19 Asia Cup between India U19 and Pakistan U19 was expected to be a thrilling one given these two teams enjoy the greatest rivalry in cricket. At the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, Pakistan U19 scored a massive total of 347/8 thanks to a stunning century from Sameer Minhas, who, with a match-defining knock, not only anchored the innings marvelously but also took the team to the tremendous total in the end.

India's bowlers had a hard time containing the flow of runs as the opponent batters kept going confidently. In reply to a humongous target of 348, India U19 were bowled out for 156 in 26.2 overs and hence, lost the match by a huge margin despite having some of the most dangerous batsmen in the world.
