Smriti Mandhana’s Father’s Health: Significant Update Emerges

India's star batter Smriti Mandhana won the ODI World Cup 2025 for the country on November 2. Following that, her plans to get married to long-term boyfriend Palash Muchhal were coming true when an unfortunate tragedy happened on the wedding day.

Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, sustained a chest pain and was soon admitted to the hospital. The wedding was postponed for an indefinite period as informed by Smriti's manager. But now, her Smriti Mandhana father heart attack recovery has been happening fast.

Smriti Mandhana's Father Discharged from Hospital

Smriti Mandhana is argaubly one of the best women cricketers going around. On Wednesday, November 26, Smriti Mandhana's father has been finally discharged from the hospital and has come home. There is still no update on the wedding scenario as of now. Moreover, Mandhana or her family members haven't spoken on the matter yet. She is quite close to her father and wanted him to be fit during her wedding celebrations and hence, it was postponed. As of now, Smriti Mandhana father health update is that he is fine but the wedding stays postponed.

Soon after her father was hospitalized, fiance Palash Muchhal was also admitted in the hospital for infection and increased acidity as per reports. Even he hasn't opened up yet about the ongoing situations but has returned to Mumbai from Sangli, where the wedding celebrations were taking place. As per reports, Palash's mother gave a statement saying that he was quite close to Smriti's father and cried for four hours straight and that's why his health conditions detiorated.

“Palash ko uncle se bahut zyaada attachment hai,” she said, adding: “Jab unko hogaya toh Smriti se pehle Palash ne decision liya ke phere nahi karne jab tak uncle thik nahi ho jaate.”

Palash Muchhal Accused of Cheating Smriti Mandhana

Filmmaker and composer, Palash Muchhal who is Smriti Mandhana's fiance has been accused of cheating a night before the wedding. There are reports that claimed Palash to be involved with the choreographer a day before the wedding. A girl on Instagram revealed some chats that happened with Palash where he was seen flirting with her.

While she took down the chats later, it had already gone viral. Since the chats have gone viral, people have bashed Palash Muchhal on his social media accounts. Moreover, some reports also suggest that Radha Yadav, who was present during the wedding, has apparently unfollowed Palash, stiring up the controversies even more.

Both the parties have remained silent as of now and haven't spoken anything yet. Meanwhile, there is no update on the wedding scenes and it remains postponed. Palash was hospitalized earlier and returned to Mumbai which also drew a lot of criticism. The netizens were furious by this act as he was supposed to remain with his fiance at such times.
