There were chances of yet another India vs Pakistan final but Nepal beat them in the semi-final to book their berth in the final.

India were unbeaten in the tournament, beating Lanka, Australia, Nepal, USA and Pakistan in the league phase. Notably, Blind cricket is “played with a white plastic ball packed with ball bearings that rattle as it rolls, which allows it to be heard by players.”

The India Women Blind cricket team received a lot of praise for their heroics in the Blind Women's T20 World Cup. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the team, saying that their win will inspire generations to come.

“Congratulations to the @blind_cricket Indian team for winning the first-ever Blind Women's T20 World Cup, an event that re-defines the limits of ‘ability' and inspires differently abled athletes in India and around the world,” Shah posted on X.
