The Indian Cricket fraternity has seen a lot of cricketers investing in or starting ventures that directly or indirectly support education, with a blend of promoting sports, not limited to cricket. This provides a platform to the youth of the country in many possible ways to have a good education along with sports.

One popular name in Indian cricket, former Indian pacer and current chief selector Ajit Agarkar, is making headlines for such a new initiative, where he has joined hands with his wife, Fatema Agarkar, to launch ACE Juniors. Let's have a look at Ajit Agarkar ACE Juniors in detail.

What is ACE Juniors?

ACE Juniors is a new early learning centre started by former Indian cricketer Ajit Agarkar and education expert Fatema Agarkar. The ACE Juniors Learning Centre will be under the Agarkar Centre of Excellence (ACE), which is known for combining sports with education through school and after-school programs

However, ACE Juniors follows the same vision, focusing on early childhood education while helping children build discipline, teamwork, creativity, and essential life skills from a young age. ACE Juniors will officially launch on July 29 with a grand event featuring prominent personalities from sports, education, entertainment, and healthcare. The institution aims to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, communication, and problem-solving skills in children from an early age.

Which Other Cricketers Have Launched Education Initiatives?

The most recent education initiative by Indian Cricketers was Sportsversity by former India A skipper Priyank Panchal. This platform is designed to teach athletes career skills outside of active competition. Another one is by Yuvraj Singh through the YouWeCan Foundation, which funds the education for children from low-income families and cancer survivors.

Another less well-known education initiative is TENVIC Sports, a sports education and training company co-founded by Indian cricket legend and one of the best spinners in the world, Anil Kumble, along with the former international table tennis player Vasanth Bharadwaj. This venture focuses on improving sports at the grassroots level rather than setting up academies directly. Coaching Beyond was founded by Ravi Shastri alongside former national coaches Bharat Arun and R. Sridhar to standardise advanced coach education and systematic mental conditioning across youth institutions.
