The development was confirmed by Mohit Goel (MD, Omaxe Ltd.) and Avneet Soni (Business Head, Omaxe) during the press conference, which was attended by Harmanpreet on Thursday, March 26.
What is Harmanpreet Kaur Stand Ticket Price?
According to the CNBC TV18, The stand which is named after one of the best women cricketers, Harmanpreet Kaur, will be called the Pink Stand, which will be the first in India and will host women and families. The Harmanpreet Kaur stand is situated in the North (Pavilion) Lower Bowl and it will have more than 1500 seats out of the total 30,000 seating capacity in the stadium.
The ticket pricing for the Omaxe cricket stadium is yet to be known, but the ideas and inputs were taken from Harmanpreet Kaur as well when the stand was being built. On getting the stand named after her, the Indian captain said that she is grateful for the honour and it has given her immense joy to see women’s cricket growing.
“It is truly special to have a stand named after me at The Omaxe State. Cricket has given me so much over the years and this recognition makes the journey even more meaningful. I am grateful to Omaxe for this honour, and it was a pleasure to be included in the planning phase of the stadium to make it more inclusive toward women.

First Women’s Cricketer in India to Have 2 Stadium Stands
With a stand being named after her at the Omaxe cricket stadium, Harmanpreet Kaur became the first women’s cricketer in India to have two stands named after her. After winning the World Cup, a stand was named after her at Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh, one of the best cricket stadiums in the world.
Harmanpreet Kaur along with Yuvraj Singh got the stand in the New Chandigarh Stadium for their contributions to Indian cricket. This will inspire a lot of female youngsters to take up the sport and make the country proud.
