Early leaks from trusted leakers and in-game data miners suggest that eFootball is planning to drop an Epic big-time card of none other than the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo's eternal rival, Lionel Messi, who also happens to be the ambassador of eFootball, has as many as four epic big-time cards to his name. Leaks from in-game data miners suggest that Konami may have already planned to release some new cards featuring the legends of the game. One of the known eFootball leakers took to his socials to disclose the names of some of the players who may get a new card in eFootball. @eFootball_FX leaked the names of the players who may arrive in the game following the version update on his official X (formerly Twitter). The leaker posted the information on July 23rd, 2025 at 12:34 PM UTC.

As per the leaks, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to receive a card in eFootball soon. The leaks also point out that the upcoming Cristiano Ronaldo card shall be one of his youngest in the game. The leak highlights that this Cristiano Ronaldo card shall be from the days when he was enjoying his first stint at Manchester United in 2007-08. Many consider the 2007-08 season to be the beginning of Ronaldo's prime, and hence, fans expect this card to be no less than an epic big-time one.

Although eFootball has yet to make an official announcement about the card for Cristiano Ronaldo. The leaks suggest that his card will be very highly rated. He is expected to get an Epic Big Time card. Epic Big-time cards are the best cards in eFootball. They are equipped with special boosters that often provide +4 or +3 boost on specific stats. All the epic big-time players have a minimum overall rating of 105 under any 88-rated manager.

Cristiano Ronaldo's 2007-08 version is leaked to have base stats at 100, which can reach a maximum of 107 when used in the dream team. This version of Ronaldo is expected to be either a prolific winger or a 'roaming flank' with extremely buffed stats on speed, dribbling, finishing and kicking power. This card may also be equipped with a rare skill like ‘ Phenomenal Finishing.’ This card will most likely be usable as a left wing forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo's leaked Epic Big-Time card may arrive within a pack of other Manchester United Epic cards that are expected to include other club legends like Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney.
