His versatility can prove crucial in any crunch situation. Millot's speed and agility, coupled with his relentless spirit to always remain involved in the game, define his character as a footballer, highlighting his passion and commitment towards the game.
Millot was mainly used as a pocket player in the final third in the early stages of this season, while also proving his strength in other positions as well. He helps in linking up Stuttgart’s midfield to their forward line with his composed runs from deep to occupy tricky spaces up front while combining passes with teammates in the process.
Enzo Millot is known for his creative passes in Stuttgart’s squad. His ability to slot in passes behind the defensive line with perfect weight and speed and find teammates in dangerous areas has been an asset for his team. Another important aspect of his game is his ability to operate in tight spaces, which has proved to be beneficial for Stuttgart’s build-up and final passing phases this season, ranging from switches, crosses, and line-breaking touches. Millot is competent in breaking low blocks with his short-distance carries. His passing abilities are best unlocked when receiving on the half-turn, where he can easily create chances.
His frequent off-and-on-the-ball movement makes the task tougher for opponents, who are then forced to attempt a tackle. Millot is recognized for his active presence high up the pitch, where he can dictate play in between the lines. Millot starts the build-up in the middle third by putting himself between markers to slow down engagement and reaction time. He plays a direct pass to his teammate in front of him, and is always ready to run into the unoccupied space.
Millot's dribbling skills can be described as above-average, especially in short distances. He fancies warding off his marker with his body feints while receiving the ball in deeper areas. His direct dribbling and runs on the channels with a burst of pace often force the opposing players to commit a foul. He loves to take control in a 1v1 duel, create a perfect space, and put the defenders on their heels. This way, Millot allows his teammates enough time and space to take up their positions.
Millot is also skilled at creating set-piece opportunities, as he has won 17 fouls this season. This type of action can disorient a low block or distances between compact defenders. He has managed to put on 23 successful dribbles this season, which puts him in the 85th percentile amongst other players in his position.
