Janis Blaswich - 9.0: Simply sensational. The only reason this wasn't a humiliating rout. He made an incredible 10 saves, with at least five of them being top-drawer stops. An astonishing one-man wall. Despite conceding two goals he had no chance with, he was far and away the Man of the Match.

Defenders

Jarell Quansah - 6.0: A torrid evening for the young defender. He was part of a backline that was under siege for 90 minutes. He struggled with Arsenal's fluid attack and lost possession 15 times, which is far too many. A steep learning curve.

Robert Andrich - 6.0: The captain fought hard but was ultimately overwhelmed. He made a few important clearances but was often chasing shadows as Arsenal's midfielders ran rings around his defence. A difficult night leading a team that was completely outplayed.
