Barcelona vs Mallorca Player Ratings

FC Barcelona delivered a strong and controlled performance at Camp Nou, defeating Mallorca 3–0 in a La Liga match that they dominated from start to finish. From the opening minutes, Barcelona dictated the pace of the game, keeping possession and limiting Mallorca’s opportunities. The difference in quality between the two sides was clear throughout the contest.

The breakthrough came shortly before the half-hour mark when Robert Lewandowski scored with a calm and precise finish inside the box. The move was created by Dani Olmo, who was one of the standout players of the match and caused constant problems for the Mallorca defence. Although the visitors had a few brief moments, they were unable to challenge Barcelona’s back line seriously.

Barcelona increased the pressure in the second half and doubled their lead through Lamine Yamal, who scored a fine long-range goal, again set up by Olmo. Late in the match, substitute Marc Bernal added a third goal to complete an impressive team display. The victory underlined Barcelona’s strong form and sent a clear message to their rivals in the league.

FC Barcelona Player Ratings vs Mallorca

Goalkeeper

Joan García - 7.5: Had a relatively quiet day but was alert when called upon. He made four saves, including a couple of crucial ones in the first half that kept his clean sheet intact. From our perspective, his distribution was also excellent, starting several attacks from the back. A confident and assured performance from the keeper.

Defenders

Jules Koundé - 7.0: A solid and reliable display at right-back. He was defensively sound and contributed to the attack, even creating a big chance. He looked comfortable on the ball, though we noticed he was dribbled past once. Overall, a good day's work for the Frenchman.

Pau Cubarsí - 7.5: Another impressive performance from the young centre-back. He was a rock at the back, winning most of his duels and making four clearances. What stood out to us was his composure on the ball, completing 100 passes with 92% accuracy. He's looking more and more like a seasoned veteran.

Eric García - 8.0: A commanding performance from García. He was dominant in the air, winning 71% of his aerial duels, and read the game beautifully with five clearances. His passing was exceptional, often breaking the lines to start attacks. He was a defensive stalwart and one of the best players on the pitch for us.

Alejandro Balde - 7.0: Full of energy and running down the left flank. He was a constant outlet for his team, with 113 touches on the ball. He did lose possession 15 times which is a bit high, but his attacking intent and recovery runs were vital. A decent, if slightly untidy, performance.

Midfielders

Marc Casadó - 7.5: Sat at the base of the midfield and controlled the game with authority. He was tidy in possession, rarely gave the ball away, and was unlucky not to score, hitting the woodwork. He won the majority of his duels and drew three fouls, showing his cleverness. A very mature performance.

Fermín López - 8.0: All-action display from the midfielder. He provided a wonderful assist and created another big chance, always looking to make things happen. His work rate was phenomenal, making four tackles and constantly harassing the Mallorca midfield. He was a driving force for FC Barcelona.

Dani Olmo - 9.0: The undisputed man of the match. A creative masterclass from the Spanish international, providing two brilliant assists. He created four chances in total and was the architect of almost every good attacking move. His vision and execution were on a different level. A truly sensational performance that decided the game.

Forwards

Lamine Yamal - 8.0: The teenager continues to dazzle. He scored a spectacular goal from outside the box that left the goalkeeper with no chance. He was a constant menace on the right wing, though he did miss one big chance. His confidence and directness are a joy to watch.

Robert Lewandowski - 7.5: Led the line well and got his name on the scoresheet with a composed finish. He was a physical presence, winning most of his aerial duels. He didn't have many touches but was effective when he did. A classic number nine's performance.

Marcus Rashford - 7.0: An interesting and frustrating performance. He was incredibly active, taking eight shots, but his finishing was wayward with five of them blocked. He got into great positions and his movement was a problem for Mallorca, but he needed to be more clinical. He did his part, but it could have been so much more.

Mallorca Player Ratings vs FC Barcelona

Goalkeeper

Leo Román - 6.5: It's tough for a keeper when you concede three, but he couldn't be faulted for the goals. He actually made four saves, some of which were excellent, to prevent an even bigger defeat. His distribution was poor, but he stood up well under pressure.

Defenders

Pablo Maffeo - 6.0: Had a very difficult time against the relentless FC Barcelona attack. He worked hard and made three tackles but was often on the back foot. A battling performance but ultimately outclassed.

David López - 7.0: Mallorca's best defender by a mile. He was a warrior at the back, making an incredible 11 clearances and blocking four shots. He put his body on the line time and time again. Without him, the scoreline would have been much worse.

Martin Valjent - 5.5: The captain struggled to cope with the movement of FC Barcelona's forwards. He made eight clearances but was also dribbled past twice and looked overwhelmed. A very tough afternoon for him.

Johan Mojica - 5.0: From our perspective, a day to forget for the left-back. He struggled defensively and was a weak link, losing possession 12 times. He was constantly targeted and failed to provide any stability on his flank. Just not his day.

Midfielders

Mateu Morey - 5.5: Was largely anonymous during his time on the pitch. He failed to get into the game and was substituted after 62 minutes having made little impact. He was caught offside and just couldn't impose himself.

Omar Mascarell - 6.0: Fought hard in the midfield battle but was ultimately on the losing side. He won a decent number of his duels but the game largely passed him by. He was industrious but lacked the quality to change the game.

Samú Costa - 7.0: A real fighter in the middle of the park. He made an astounding 10 ball recoveries and won nine duels, showing incredible determination. He never stopped running and tried to disrupt FC Barcelona's rhythm. A standout performer in a losing effort.

Pablo Torre - 5.5: Playing against his parent club, he couldn't make a statement. He was ineffective and lost possession too often. He seemed to be trying too hard at times and it didn't come off for him before being subbed.

Jan Virgili - 6.0: Looked lively in the first half and had two shots on target, forcing good saves from the keeper. However, he was caught offside twice and his influence faded. He showed some promise but lacked the final product.

Forwards

Vedat Muriqi - 5.5: Was completely isolated up front. He was starved of service and had to feed on scraps. He missed a big chance in the first half which could have changed the game. A frustrating and thankless task for the striker.
