The star all-rounder from Assam, Riyan Parag, is among the youngest players in IPL 2025. He made his IPL debut at the age of 17 years and 152 days for the Rajasthan Royals in 2019. Parag was a part of the U-19 World Cup-winning Indian team in 2018, after which RR roped him in for the 2019 IPL season. Prayas Ray Barman is the second youngest player in IPL as he made his debut in the league at just 16 years and 152 days for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2019. However, the debut didn’t go well for him as he conceded 56 runs in his 4-over quota. The franchise released him ahead of the 2020 season and hasn’t appeared in the league since then. His domestic performances for Bengal are also quite average.

The youngest player in to make a debut in the IPL is Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was signed by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025 auction for Rs. 1.10 crores during the 2025 IPL auction. The left-handed opener from Bihar finally made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals in the match against Lucknow Super Giants on April 19, 2025.

Suryavanshi made his IPL debut when he was just 14 years and 23 days old. He got a chance to play as the team's captain Sanju Samson was ruled out of the match due to an injury. It is probably the biggest moment of the youngster's life, and he will be aiming to make this opportunity count.
