Punjab Kings Star to Feature in a Movie, Set to be Released During IPL

As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is around the corner, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will be in focus yet again. The Shreyas Iyer-led side would be hoping to go one step better this season and lift their maiden title.

Punjab Kings finished as runner-ups in IPL 2025 as they lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). They will be one of the favourites to win this season as they have some of the big match-winners on their side, just like last season.

One of those match-winners is Harpreet Brar. The PBKS all-rounder has been part of the franchise for the last few seasons and has been coming up with brilliant performances each season both with bat and ball.

While his on-field performances will be under the spotlight yet again, Harpreet Brar has hogged the headlines. He will be making his acting debut in the Punjabi film, which is set to be released during the IPL 2026.

Harpreet Brar Movie To Be Released on March 31

Harpreet Brar arguably one of the best all-rounders in IPL. Apart from his cricketing skills, he has made a reputation in singing as well. The all-rounder has released quite a few songs, which has attracted millions of viewers.

And now, Harpreet Brar film debut is set to happen soon. Brar has worked in a movie named “Rabba da Radio 3, which is will be released on March 31. The all-rounder has been working hard on since the last few months and will be seen in theatres now.

Brar has also sung a song in the movie. He will be performing the role of Shamsher Singh in the picture. When the Harpreet Brar Punjabi film will be released, he will be busy with his commitments as the Indian Premier League will start on March 28.

When Will Harpreet Brar Be Released?

Punjab Kings, one of the best teams in IPL over the last few years, will open their campaign in IPL 2026 with a game against the Gujarat Titans on March 31, the same day Brar’s movie will get released. It will be a special day for him and he would want to come up with a match-winning performance for his team.

Brar has played 49 games in the IPL so far and slammed 244 runs. However, his primary role is with the ball as he has taken 35 wickets with the best of 4/30. The left-hander is likely to play a key role for Punjab Kings in IPL 2026 as well.
