ICC T20 World Cup 2026: Complete Squads and Tournament Details

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is one of cricket’s most anticipated global tournaments. It is set to be played from  February 07, 2026, to March 08, 2026. The matches will be played across different stadiums located in India and Sri Lanka, two countries which have an enormous cricket following.

In this tournament, 20 teams will be participating and will follow a format of group stages, Super 8s, and knockout rounds, concluding with the final, likely to be held at one of the biggest cricket stadiums in the world, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Teams from around the world have battled on the field to secure their spots, with established cricketing nations such as India, Australia, England, and West Indies competing alongside emerging teams.

Historically, the ICC T20 World Cup has produced thrilling games. India won the 2024 edition, defeating South Africa in the final to claim their second title. In the tournament’s history, India, England, and West Indies are the only teams with multiple T20 World Cup wins, showcasing a rich tradition of short-form cricket.

ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Squads

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will see the teams divided into four groups of five in the initial group stage, where each of them plays four round‑robin matches. The top two teams from each group advance to the Super 8s, which are split into two groups of four, and this will determine the four semi‑finalists of this season. From there, the tournament moves to knockout semi‑finals and a final. All the squads for T20 World Cup 2026 have not been announced but will be named in a few days.

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Group A includes India, Pakistan, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia as the five competing teams. Given their strong T20 histories and rankings, India and Pakistan are the most likely to reach the Super 8 stage from this group.
