Oman to Play Kerala After Asia Cup: Full Schedule, Squads & Venues Revealed

The Oman National Cricket Team are putting in the hard yards to make sure that they qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Asia-EAP Qualifiers. Since the last few months, they have been playing a good brand of cricket, which has seen them qualify for the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.

The Oman Cricket Team are part of the Group A in the Asia Cup 2025. They faced a humiliating loss against Pakistan in their opening match of the tournament, who bagged a massive 93-run win. Oman then locked horns with the hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) and showed great fight. They bagged a 42-run loss and were eliminated from the tournament with one game to go.

Oman to Host Kerala in Three-Match Series

After the Asia Cup 2025, Oman will host Kerala in a three-match T20I series. The series between the teams will be played from September 22 and 25. The venues of the series are yet to he decided and it is expected that the entire itinerary will be announced soon.

This will be the second time that Kerala will be visiting Oman. During their previous tour in 2023, they played a five-match one-day series. Before going to Oman, the Kerala cricket team will be having a preparatory camp at home. The camp will be held at the KCA Stadium in Thodupuzha from September 16 to 19. The camp will focus on the fitness of the players and will help them to get in the groove for the series.

Kerala vs Oman Schedule 2025

The first Kerala vs Oman cricket match will be played on September 22 while the next two matches will be played on September 23 and 25 respectively. It will be a great exposure for both teams. Kerala have some of the best batsmen in India and are also the runners-up of the last Ranji Trophy. On the other hand, Oman is an emerging associate nation in cricket. Kerala announced squad for the Oman tour recently and the squad features all the key performers from the Kerala Cricket League. The team will be captained by Saly Samson and all the players will be confident of doing well, especially after their recent heroics in KPL 2025. Saly Samson is the brother of Sanju Samson, one of the best wicketkeeper-batsmen in India.
