Team India T20 World Cup Jersey 2026 Launched: See the New Jersey Here

Team India's new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 has been revealed. The jersey looks beautiful with dark blue stripes with shades of orange in it. It was a much awaited one for the Team India fans as they were looking for it since a long time.

Former India captain Rohit Sharma and young middle order batter Tilak Varma were present in Raipur for the India T20 World Cup jersey launch. Alongside them, BCCI's secretary Devajit Saikia was also present for this massive moment.

Team India T20 World Cup Jersey Launched

The launch of India jersey in T20 world cup 2026 happened midway during the IND vs SA 2nd ODI at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Cricket Stadium, Raipur. BCCI's secretary Devajit Saikia presented the jersey to the middle order batter Tilak Varma and Rohit was also present there.

The India T20 WC jersey looks slightly different to the current jersey. The T20 World Cup 2026 will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka. The final of the tournament will be played in Ahmedabad. However, if Pakistan qualifies for the summit clash, it will be played in Colombo.

It is to be noted that Rohit was India's captain during the T20 World Cup 2024 as the Men in Blue lifted the title. After the tournament, he retired from the format alongside the other great Virat Kohli.

Both Rohit and Kohli are among the best T20 batsmen of all time and have made several records in the format. At the time of their retirement, both of them were the highest run-scorers in T20I cricket.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma is a key part of India's T20I plans. The left-handed batter has established himself as one of the mainstays in the format, and has already played one of the best T20 knocks at a young age, during the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan.

India's Recent T20 Form

India's recent T20 form has been excellent under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav. With Gautam Gambhir as the head coach, the team has been at its aggressive best with some of the most dangerous batsmen in the world forming the batting order.

The Men in Blue are the firm favorites to win the title on familiar conditions. However, there will be pressure on them to perform in front of a crowd that will have huge expectations from them.
