History Made! West Indies Set New World Record Against Bangladesh

The West Indies cricket team are facing Bangladesh national cricket team in the second ODI at Dhaka's Shere Bangla National Stadium. In the final two overs of the innings, which were bowled by Motie and Akeal, respectively, Rishad and Mehidy together scored 34 runs. Ultimately, Bangladesh achieved a respectable total of 213-7.

Earlier, West Indies lost the first ODI game in this three-match ODI series by 74 runs. Once the ODIs are over, West Indies and Bangladesh will compete in three match T20I series, which will be key for their preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. It remains to be seen how the pitches behave in the T20I series.
