The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner and a lot of teams have already started their preparation for it. The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have made notable changes in their squad by getting in Kerala's star batter Sanju Samson for Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.

However, a recent social media post has reignited another possible addition in the camp, and this time it's none other than Ravichandran Ashwin, who has spent some of the memorable days of his cricket career with this franchise.

Former India spinner and CSK star Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to join the CSK camp as their brand new spin-bowling coach. The franchise shared a picture of the former cricketer on their official Instagram account, with the caption, “SUPERFANS. Guess Who?”

The post was enough to create buzz among the fans about CSK new bowling coach. While there isn't any official announcement by the franchise but the rumours are likely to be true.

Ravichandran Ashwin CSK bowling coach news could be massive as the franchise looks for a reset button from the next season of the Indian Premier League. Despite being one of the best teams in IPL over the years, CSK have struggled to be competitive over the recent past as there have been question marks over their team selection.

CSK Prepare for IPL 2026

According to reports, the CSK camp has begun their preparations from March, as most of the players have started joining already. The franchise's legendary skipper, MS Dhoni, has also joined the camp as CSK posted a video of his arrival. A lot of fans gathered to welcome the the GOAT of cricket.

There were also a lot of debates around who would be lead Chennai Super Kings for the season.

However, the management has already confirmed that Ruturaj Gaikwad will continue to lead the team while Samson will play as a pure batter with Dhoni taking the wicketkeeping gloves. But it would be interesting to see what would be CSK's opening combination for the season as they now have four pure openers in the team with the likes of Ayush Mhatre, Urvil Patel, Sanju Samson and the skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad himself.
