But he was also part of a defense that was carved open multiple times. We noticed he was often pulled out of position, which contributed to the chaos. A mixed bag, but his attacking contributions were crucial.

Federico Gatti - 5.5: He struggled against Inter's fluid attack. Lost half of his duels and committed a couple of needless fouls. He just looked a bit off the pace. It wasn't a surprise to see him substituted in the second half. He'll want to forget this game quickly.

Alessandro Bastoni - 5.5: Not his finest hour. He lost possession 15 times which is incredibly high for a defender of his calibre. His crossing was wayward and he seemed to struggle with Juventus's runners. A surprisingly poor performance from a usually reliable player.

Denzel Dumfries - 6.5: A typically industrious performance on the right flank. He won most of his duels and got forward to create a couple of decent chances. He provided a good outlet before being substituted. A solid shift.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu - 9.0: The man of the match, without a shadow of a doubt. He was absolutely phenomenal. Scored two incredible goals from outside the box and completely ran the midfield. He had 100 touches and was the best player on the park by a mile. It's a travesty he ended up on the losing side. Unplayable.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 6.5: He battled hard and won plenty of his duels, as you'd expect. Picked up a late yellow card for his troubles. It was a performance full of running and effort, but he lacked that bit of quality in the final third to make a real difference.

Nicolò Barella - 6.0: A surprisingly quiet game from the energetic midfielder. He was busy but often wasteful in possession. Substituted after 64 minutes, he just couldn't impose his will on the match. Looked a bit leggy.
